Savannah in the Round

The Mareeba Rodeo Arena, also known as Kerribee Park, is located 7km from the centre of Mareeba in the Cairns Hinterland on State Route 27. This road is the main north/west route to the Gulf Country and the starting point of the 3,700km road trip across the top of Australia from Cairns to Broome, known as the Savannah Way. The event is 66km from Cairns Airport, which is about an hour’s drive away.

Savannah in the Round is a unique festival. Your festival armband gives you access to the festival area and your designated seating area, whether it’s general admission or grandstand seating. You are free to move around the festival area, including a front-of-stage area to enjoy Main Stage performances. The Main Stage operates between 4pm and 11.30pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.In addition to the Main Stage, Savannah in the Round will also have two support stages: the Big Top Music Hall and the Bull Bar, both of which will operate throughout the day from mid-morning and after Main Stage performances until late.
