Sarina Sugar Shed is a multi‑award‑winning attraction offering an authentic paddock‑to‑plate food tourism experience. Enjoy a guided tour of our miniature sugar mill and boutique distillery, open 7 days a week from 9:00 am–4:00 pm (closed Australia Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day & Boxing Day). Tours run at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm, and bookings are recommended.
Daily guided tours demonstrate the process of making sugar; from the raw sugarcane plant to fresh juice, crystallised sugar and ethanol. The tour finishes with tastings of the many delicious uses of sugar all made on-site. From non-alcoholic ginger beer, rum and fruit liqueurs (adults only) to signature chutneys, relishes and sauces and freshly spun fairy floss!
Our café offers light lunches, house‑baked scones, cheese and tasting platters, and hand‑churned ice‑cream, making it a sweet experience for all ages.
