Daintree

The Daintree is a raw and ancient environment, covering 1200 sq km between Mossman Gorge and Bloomfield River.

Despite its rugged nature, it’s easily accessible for a day trip, offering hiking trails, swimming holes, and wildlife spotting. The Kuku Yalanji people, who have lived in the region for 50,000 years, offer guided tours to learn about the rainforest’s history. The Daintree is where the Wet Tropics Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef meet, offering easy access to snorkelling sites.
