Opera Queensland

Our Vision at Opera Queensland is to grow a community connected by the transformative power of opera. Whether we are sitting together in the theatre at QPAC, in an open paddock in the Outback, watching a performance in our Studio or participating in a singing workshop, the experience of sharing story and song connects and strengthens us as a community. The Festival of Outback Opera is coming up to its fifth year, celebrated in Winton and Longreach in May. Unlike any other music event you have experienced. It’s more than a festival, it’s a journey. Experience a series of outdoor concerts in iconic locations set on a backdrop of sublime sunsets and scenery like you have never encountered. From gala concerts under the stars to casual singalongs, there is something for everyone, in an experience the city cannot match.
