Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures

Explore the fascinating world of Australian native and exotic animals with Hartley’s team at our 28-hectare wildlife sanctuary in the Wangetti Valley, nestled in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. You can observe crocodiles in a natural melaleuca wetland lagoon, cassowaries in a rare riverine rainforest, kangaroos and emus in an expansive woodland, free-flying predatory birds, iconic marsupials like koalas and wombats, colorful reptiles from abroad, and our sustainable crocodile farm. Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures offers something for everyone passionate about nature and wildlife. Our knowledgeable team enjoys sharing insights and stories about the natural world and providing tips for staying safe in crocodile territory. Our daily presentations strike a balance between entertainment and education. As a family-owned local business, we are widely recognized as one of Australia’s leading nature-based advanced eco-adventure experiences.

Drive Queensland acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders both past, present and emerging; and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
